(Item/Line): Heel-Toe Drop

Heel to toe drop specifies the difference in thickness between the heel and forefoot. Example: if a shoe sole has a 19 mm thick heel and 12 thick mm forefoot/toe, the heel-toe drop is 7 mm. Consumers can use the heel-toe drop as a criterion when choosing running shoes, as the individual foot placement /strike can benefit from a lower or higher heel-toe drop.
